Gracias por su excelente clase , saludos desde GUATEMALA .
At 7‘23‘’, you pronounced “intermittent” with the emphasis on the first syllable, as you explained, but the IPA that you gave at the same time had the primary stress mark on the third syllable. So, variants exists?
Great video though.
I’ve listened to exactly this word so many times but still didn’t get how to pronounce it, couldn’t repeat it…
Hello from Brazil!Wonderful classes!
I was wondering if would be beneficial to give us a little time to repeat the words and phrases!

This is helping me teach pronunciation to my students. ARIGATO! ❤
This an unquestionable rule – the more a person is educated, the easier it is to understand them. Educated people pay attention to their speech, their pronunciation, they are usually aware who they speak to. As far as this lady is concerned. it’s a great pleasure to hear an American person who speaks without that heavy American accent. Cheers🙂
I am unaware that i was making few mistakes. Today I’ve understood better about words like metabolism pronunciation and epitome. Nice lesson and Thank you 💞
Thanks Mary I love your lessons !!

Thanks a lot, I have a degree in interpreting and translation, I live in Algeria. I love American literature and knowing how the words sound in real make my reading even more aesthetic. I think I find something Californian in the way you talk. You remind me, even in your intonations, of the thinker Christina Hoff Sommers who has a Californian accent. But maybe I am wrong, so are you Californian, or from somewhere else? Because I noticed Californians have a special way to pronounce certain words. Also do Southerners very differently. Thanks.
I have “a headache in my stomach”. I just found a recipe for eggnog French toast. My stomach will surely smile AND my head no longer has an ache. Great video! (So clear!)
