Thank you for the video! I learned a lot.🙂
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching 🙂
Definitely checking out the certifications, I’m also in that situation of wanting to freelance without a degree but I have the confidence.
Excellent video as always, Adrian! 🙂
Great answers Adrian! Thank you! I really like your videos 👍🌻
Good Day Adrian. I recently found your channel and I find it quite helpful. I could not believe at first that such detailed info could exist in the first place, about this field. I watched your video about future proofing our careers. Based on that, may I ask if you yourself have recommend any certifications or accreditations in the field of both translation / interpretation and IT ? I believe your specialization is in IT, ( as will be mine too ) .Also, have you seen languages named ‘Marathi’ and ‘Hindi’ ever being mentioned or required in any type of translation / interpretation type of work ? Vielen Dank im Voraus. – Sachin Mainkar
Thanks Adrian. I appreciate the last part of the video
Glad you liked it!
Hi Adrian! I will graduate from a master’s degree in Foreign Languages for Business by next year and I am planning to start as a freelance translator, specializing in business/finance over time. I like translating but after having heard very mixed feedback from many people, I have constant fears about translation alone not having enough demand/income in my language pairs to support myself. What other services aside from translation and interpreting could I offer as a language professional if translation alone wouldn’t provide a stable income?
