Hello, I’m Luis from Brazil and I speak English and I am considering starting translating freelancing, but I don’t know how to start. I found your channel yesterday and it seems really good and full of quality content!! I’m still 17 and I don’t know how I could start on the industry, as I don’t have any certificates or money to buy paid certifications. How should I start? Thanks for watching, being just 17 you are years ahead of most people 🙂 well done. There are plenty of videos on starting on my channel. I’d suggest you watch the one on the permission paradox to give you an idea how to build a portfolio

What about agencies? Ir I raise my rate they start working with those who offer lower rates
Yes that is the case for many agencies, not all though. The ones I work with will rather overlay the extra charge to the end client than focus on profit maximizatiom
