Why are you repeating the same sentence over and over again? To me, that would look like a scam or like you are a bot – no wonder that she did not deliver…
Ugh. Yes Facebook does that for some reason. I apologized to her and explained that it was automatic on FB’s part. It was further up in the scroll unfortunately. I don’t think that was a factor in non-delivery though.
@@FreelanceTranslatorTips, that is strange. I never had that issue. What was the reason for non-delivery? Was she sick?
@@ZerOs99973 It happens more often than you’d think. I’m not sure what the reason was. She just disappeared and I didn’t insist. In my experience this happens with people who decide out of the blue to “try translation” as a part-time gig, but then don’t actually want to do the work. This is why you need to be careful as an agency and make sure you hire someone with decent credentials.
@@FreelanceTranslatorTips, thanks for your insights. That’s very interesting. I guess that means it is better to use Upwork or Proz because it is also easier to identify who has credentials and who has not.
