WHO AM I:
I'm Tiffani’, an English teacher living in America. I spent almost 10 years in South Korea as a missionary English teacher and it was great. After that experience, I decided to continue helping students around the world learn how to speak English with confidence. My goal is to help 1 billion students, just like you, finally speak English with confidence.

In Spanish there’s a similar expression in order to say that something is very expensive: “costar un ojo de la cara” something like “it costs an eye from the face” on the hand we Brazilians say the same expression, but in the plural form to indicate the same “custar os olhos da cara” (“it costs the eyes of the face” to express the same idea. This expression is widely used in both languages and has an interesting origin: the Spanish conqueror Diego de Almagro (1479-1538) that while trying to invade an Inca fortress, he literally lost an eye during a battle, and afterwards he said to the Spanish emperor Carlos I: “to defend the interests of Spanish crown costed me an eye from my face”
Thanks for the information, Here in Brazil it’s very common use this phase!

Hey Tiff!! I started watching your videos about 18 months ago.. 2 months before coming to the USA (December 2022), I really didn’t understand anything about English, I didn’t know how to use past, present, or future tenses, and you were the first channel that I felt comfortable watching, even though I didn’t understand everything.
Today, after all this time, I’m still in the USA, consuming a lot of English videos but yours… is always delightful to me!! It’s always incredible to hear you, and I learn so much. Thank you for being you and sharing all this light with us! 💛
THE BEST ENGLISH TEACHER, THANK YOU TIFFANY!
Greetings from Costa Rica 🇨🇷
