In northeastern Pennsylvania we have a couple of interesting

    Pillow pronounced “pellow”
    Beat pronounced “bet”
    Roof pronounced “rof”
    Ridiculous pronounced “ridikulus”
Instead of “a couple” or “a few” it’s “couple two tree”
“Did you eat yet?” “No did you?” sounds like “djeet yet?” “No dju?”
We also don’t pronounce most of our t’s

I’m from Arkansas. We get a lot of New Orleans people coming up to do business or to relocate. Arkansas has its own unique accent. And sometimes it feels like we have to do a lot of code switching when we talk to each other. Also, a lot of cajun pronounced their names differently depending on who they talk to. A lot of Louisianans will pronounce their names in a more French sounding way among each other but Anglicize it more in Arkansas.
