Who ends lisa or yoga with an r. like it’s
Li sa or yo ga. it’s not li sa r or yo ga r

While living in Missouri, at a dinner party, I (being from Downeast Maine) was discussing with a Bostonian friend the difference between how we said “car”. I use the a low ‘a’ like I’d use in “far”, where as he’d use a high ‘a’ as the ‘a’ in “carry”. The others at the dinner party couldn’t hear the difference but it was clear to us πŸ˜‰
