Can ARABIC Speakers Understand MALTESE? (clip 2)

In this clip I share a Maltese sentence with 2 speakers of Arabic (one Moroccan and one Egyptian) to see how well they understand it. Then I break down the Maltese sentence and compare it to Arabic.

  • @hoangkimviet8545 says:

The whole sentence is full of Arabic. There are no Italian elements, not even one.

  • @keykey4216 says:

Id-djalett Libjan, id-djalett Tuneżin, u d-djalett Alġerin jaqsmu mal-lingwa Maltija ħafna kliem u anke “espressjonijiet kursivi”! tislijiet tiegħi

  • @keykey4216 says:

The Libyan dialect, the Tunisian dialect, the Algerian dialect share many words and even “curse and swearing phrases” with the Maltese language! Regards

  • @f123pio7 says:

    Very interesting, as always!
I speak Hebrew, and most of the words are, of course, very similar.

  • @bigsarge2085 says:

    Interesting.
