Hello, thank for this video. Last week I started to translate an English book into Spanish. The book has 82 pages. Do you know due to my health I had to start to find other options for helping myself. And thanks to God a Friend wanted to help me she give the first payed and when I have finished all the second part she will give me the rest of the money. I was feelings unmotivate but then I said I should continue with my life and find an answer to my health with natural medicine since doctor don’t want pay atention to my health.

I did not know that programs for translating, but last week used CHAT Gpt but the manchine does not know all the time the context for making the traduction but I consider it may help in order to get an idea. I agree with you.

Thanks for the comment, yes context is tough for AI, however, with the right implementation, it is doing a great job. Video on that topic is coming later this year.

Hey Adrian, great video as always.
Please keep up the good work! 🙂

Another excellent video, Adrian. It’s funny that you mention not being happy with the published version in German, as my reflex reaction on seeing the first sentence in English was that it must have been translated from German or another language: the structure is convoluted and it’s far from ideal (or common) to have the passive ‘are brought together’ right at the end of the sentence. Maybe we should offer to revise both the English (there are a few other rough edges, despite some admittedly nice touches elsewhere) and the German. 😉

    • Freelanceverse - Adrian Probst says:

Ohhh really haha, nice to know that you picked up on that from the other side as well. Yeah we should combine forces and improve the communication of the Swiss national museum haha. Now that you mention it I can definitely see how the English sounds translated, but oddly enough, I feel like the English still sounds better than the German lol

@Freelanceverse – Adrian Probst I guess we’re both more attuned to (and thus sensitive about) our native tongues!

Deepl is the best and it is getting better and better. Spanish <> English in deepl is super.

  • J J says:

For Japanese to English, it’s DeepL by a Texas mile.
