Happy New Lunar Year to you and your family! For me, it will be very interesting to learn more facts about the creation of a translation agency. For example, making things legal to work for foreign clients translating documents and legal stuff, you know. Thank you!
Hi there! Great questions! This has to do with the initial set-up and can be extremely important. Incidentally, it can be important for freelance translators too. I discuss this a bit in my last video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGQly8XCBHs
Hello, I’ve been active in the field for almost a couple of years, I mean I’ve been working as a freelancer and doing stuff like translating (mainly from Persian to English), and also I’ve been creating content, writing articles, and things the like. I live in Iran and as you may know, things are not normal here the country is not doing well financially, so, I’m thinking about working as a freelance translator or interpreter with I don’t know other institutes, websites, etc from abroad, however, I’m not sure If I’ll be able to do that for thousand of reason. Please if you know anything that might help, share your thoughts, thank you in advance,
Well that’s what this channel is all about! And yes, the good thing about freelance translation is you can find clients in other countries, so as to mitigate any issues with the local economy, etc. I recommend you start with my playlist “New to Translation? Start here!”, and hopefully many of your questions will be answered. I hope this helps! – https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8SPmwnxevVJYoMRg4OHnCRzfk8wr95-E
