    Hi Henry,
You are incredibly awesome. I have watched your tutorial and I must say it’s very interesting and informative. When I speak English with Native Speakers, I feel I use same words more often. Fortunately, the day I stared with your channel, I am using/ trying to use different words. Thank you for providing such a good content. I really appreciate that 😊

Thank you Mr Harry for keeping us motivated and engaged in your great lessons. This is exactly what I was craving.

  • Slow Learner says:

This is exactly what sometimes I’ve needed. Certain fillers might make pauses between important parts od conversation shorter and interesting. Thank you, Sir.

  • Lee Wu says:

Mr. Harry, I really like the way how you teach us about small talk!! It is very practical and workable in real life. Thank you🤗🌽

  • Anonymous says:

    Hi Teacher Harry
In small talk, it’s often the consensus that if you avoid topics such as religion and politics,
you should be able to have a great conversation. Talking about the weather would be
a very favourable topic to start with. I’m Asian, and I’ve lived in Britain and I can say that
the weather topic is very popular there. However, here in Canada, I’ve very often found that
it’s not the case. I noticed that a talk to a white person about a winter being very cold or enjoying a mild winter with very little snow, I almost always get a blunt and abusive reply. Remarks like — this is Canada, we have winters and snow here and if you don’t like it, you
don’t have to come here! Stop complaining! I am always taken aback by these racist remarks! But, when a white person complains about the cold winters, it’s OK. Little do these ignorant people know there is snow in Asia and lots of it. Just because we are
people of colour don’t mean that our coloured skin is due to all sun and no snow.

    • Learn English with Harry says:

Sorry to hear about your experience 😔 Just ignore those people, they are a waste of your time and mental energy.

    • Carissa Cantwell says:

While rude, not necessarily racist. They would probably say the same to a white person who moved from Florida, US to Canada & was complaining about the cold too.

  • Shawn Frank says:

Great lesson and some nice ways to start a conversation. From my own experience, I would stay away from personal topics unless brought up by the other person in examples like “Oh the last time I met you, you were having a baby” or “getting married” etc as we never know if something went wrong and this could lead to an awkward exchange. With that being said, I really enjoyed the video and liked the ending conversations bit .. it is something I struggled with.

  • YOGIC AAI says:

Hi Harry. So lovely small talk conversations. I’m getting tremendous pleasure to be a listener of ur tutorial. It’s an incredible content. Teaching style is so simple and easy to understand.. This is a beautiful contribution to the society as well. Can’t stop ur channel watching till the end. Bless you in loads. 🙏🙏🙏

  • Oksana Starzhynska says:

The first video from you I came across was devoted to advanced food phrases. I got involved a lot by your simple manner of teaching which doesn’t remind teaching at all 🙂 This particular video is very useful indeed not only because of its subject but, in my opinion, as it develops our skills of socializing which is the aim of any language learning in the end. Thank you.

  • Car Sat says:

Prof. Harry, congratulations for your channel. You are great!! I am clueless about my English level but I understand you very well. Next weeks I will try to pass the JFLT exams (NATO language military test) and in the last 2 months I have tried to level up the four abilities listening, reading, writing and speaking. For sure your job is helping me to open up my mind. Thanks!!

  • Carlos Hortuvia says:

No teacher of english has ever done so much to activate my conversational skills. I thank you, Harry.

    • Learn English with Harry says:

So happy to hear that. Keep practising

    • Adapter Crash says:

We learn grammar and syntaxes, compound, complex sentences…. that will teach you how to speak … and again all alone in publication format. It becomes your language and designed for only you to understand in cognitive application as written expositions that aren’t abstractions dealing with abstract concepts but in English proper with paragraph length sentences.

    • Twisty Soundy Sounds says:

      I agree 100 per cent
