The main problem related to English is the amount of specific vocabulary that exists only in English and many English words enter in many languages with the same spelling or with some variations, for instance the word “bullying” or “bully” does not exist in my language so we use the same word “bullying” to talk about physical or psychological aggression in classroom environment, we don’t have the equivalent for bully we just say aggressor. That’s why many times there’s no perfect translation to many English words instead all we have is a definition, English is the current dominant language in many areas such as computer science, medicine, etc., because the main ideas, nouns, devices, procedures and so on, just began to exist generally in English speaking countries and later conveyed to other languages, it’s not important whether there is an equivalent word or not.
Tiffani you are one of the incredible teacher I have ever seen. thank you for all amazing works you are doing.
Talking about this story time there’s a specific word for short nap after a meal is called “siesta” in Spanish, in English can be called as called mid-day nap ( Mittagsschlaf in German), it is a cultural habit in Brazil and also in many Spanish speaking countries, because to us, breakfast is not the most important meal of the day, it is really “lunch” instead, in lunch time we generally have a big and healthy meal, we love rice, beans, pasta, vegetables, protein, all balanced in one meal, and of course we take a little nap afeter, generally we don’t walk after eating we take a small nap and it is considered a healthy habit for us
We are ready to learn English our teacher Tiffany 🎉🎉🎉
When they say, she’s born a teacher.Well articulated my teacher thanks.
