Thank you very much, you make it so easy for us to remember those similar meaning words. The pictures can help so much aspacially someone like me, who is stronger in memorise pictures. And you also make it short and efficient way to know the words whether it is suitable to describe on things/ human/ animals/ views…. wow 👏
I’m a new viewer but I was floored by the presentation and clarity. The visuals for each word are a powerful medium to help students as visuals have a better recall. The pronunciation is perfect. Good job Harry!
Welcome aboard!
I find your lessons easy to follow and educational. Your voice and pronunciation is clear and I am learning a lot from you. Keep it up Harry
Thanks for the feedback, Natalia. I published a new lesson yesterday.
Thank you Sir for this helpful lesson. I really love and appreciate it. I am a Senior Citizen but I found this lesson really great. I will surely watch all your videos. GOD BLESS ♥️
Thank you so much for this educational lesson. I love the English language. I love to write, speak well. Looking forward to further lessons. God bless you.
Larry, my first language is English, but as much as I love adjectives and adverbs, I can’t ever seem to recall the perfect one at the perfect moment. This is an excellent reminder of the majesty and grandure of the English language. Your pronunciation is refreshingly pleasant as well. Thank you
Try reading older English books. Or even just watch classic, black and white movies where the language and proper pronunciation was an ART. I love these forms of entertainment, and they have truly increased my ability to properly communicate.
Majesty and Grandeur = majestic grandiosity
English is an unapologetic thief of a language. I love it.
Same here 😂
Always looking at ways to improve my English and to expand my vocabulary, this will be on my list of powerful tool to put into practice; therefore, enhancing my creativity in writing. Thank you Harry for taking the time to share your knowledge with your viewers. I have now become a subscriber and did click the LIKE button. It was a delight to listen to. KEEP the HOPE
Started reading around the age of 4 in the late fifties and most of the books I read were written in different centuries by European authors so my earliest exposure to extensive amounts of the English language are from an entirely different era with more formal and archaic speech. It confuses some people, but I’ve always been grateful for it. I’ve also taken Latin, French, and Japanese as well as enjoying watching foreign language films. Although I’m not fluent in any other language, I love to interject foreign words into a conversation just to keep people on their toes.
When they ask what the word means, I know they are paying attention to what I am saying…
😂
My earliest exposure to the English etc sounds less pretentious.
@Bob Gnarly How is it pretentious? They were exposed to “extensive amounts of English literature”, especially compared to most kids at that age, let alone adults.
I m so happy to discover your channel. I m French and definitely aware that my vocabulary is definitely deficient. My friends never tell me when I express myself incorrectly because they find my accent so beautiful. So they say “it s all good!” But I have been in NYC for a long time so no more excuses. Thanks to your precious tips I can only get better. Thank you.
Tres bien
Is Nice nice? Est-ce que Nice est sympa ? 😊
Thanks sir.
I’m less than ten seconds in and I already hit the like button. There is always room to improve your vocabulary.
Hi. If English happens to be your first language, please move on to the next channel. This is not a thesaurus, this is a lesson to help ESL learners to improve their vocabulary and get a higher score in IELTS, CAE, TOEFL and other proficiency exams. Thank you
Thank you for the disclaimer. Not many content producers do that.
Do you know of a good channel for native English speakers that want to improve their vocabulary BUT do a good job like yourself?
Soooo “don’t watch my content”? Fact is, a lot of native speakers could stand to watch this video. But feel free to drive viewers away, I guess!
English is my native language and as an American, I get in a rut with my vocabulary so I appreciate a video like this. It’s not that I can’t look up synonyms when I write, as I can and do, but being reminded to pay attention to how often I’m using repetitious vocabulary is helpful to me.
I paused the video and made my own list of words off the top of my head and then added yours to the list with an ‘X’ next to them if I hadn’t thought of that word. I hadn’t thought of most of the words on your list, but you also didn’t use the 8 I came up with (well, one’s a phrase).
I overuse the word ‘wonderful’ as well, so that didn’t make my list.
Here were my 8:
a feast for the eyes
fabulous
fantastic
gorgeous
incredible
magnificent
stellar
sublime
Beautiful 😄
This was a beautiful lesson. I appreciate the time and effort. It’s up to you to put this together to help us simple vocabulary, folks
Glad it was helpful!
Don’t say beautiful!
@Owen G 😂😂
You failed the lesson
@MAN University that’s the joke 🤣😂
Thank you! Not only the selection of the alternative words, but the usage in the sentences with just the right nuances is so helpful. I was so tired of using beautiful, wonderful, lovely, and amazing all the time. Love your teaching style! 😊
Many thanks thanks
Thank you, for describing and explaining the ten words in a really amazing way.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks Harry, I love all your videos. You’re amazing and I enjoyed this lesson. I like how you broke down each of the 10 words and gave full definition. God bless!🙏😍🙏
Thank you! 😃
Such a splendid lecture! Thanks Mentor Harry ❤
You’re most welcome!
