@Marketing Marco I was thinking you’ll like that one when I was recording😄😄 thanks for the feedback, and yes, it’s definitely applicable to more than just translation.
Acquiring a specialization/having a strong specialization seems like a very solid advice. Problem is, for someone like me without any official language related education, I’m not sure i qualify for anything other than general translation segment, especially for the language pair i work with.
I guess the imposter syndrome doesn’t help either.
But nevertheless, I’m starting to get used to subtitling thanks to your recommendation and a few helpful YouTube video guides.
